Recital
The contents of the recital should be discussed with your lesson teacher. See also Repertoire and Length for specifics.
Paper/CD Demo
The subject of the paper should be discussed with your advisor. The typed proposal should be brought to the Spring Planning Meeting and given to the full time faculty for approval. Your advisor should contact you with the approval or changes that pertain to your proposal.
Each CD Demo will be no more than 4 songs and recorded in McPherson Studio. The songs for the demo should be original and/or your own arrangement of a piece. You will need to provide lead sheets for each song and a 2-3 page paper outlining the process for the demo and a reflection about the entire process.. This can be in a format that works best for you to present the process (i.e. journal etc.).
